DRIVERS
Join our team of drivers picking up food from local grocery stores and delivering it to the food pantry.
When: 1-2 hours per pick up; shifts available 7 days per week
Must have a truck or SUV and be able to lift 40 lbs.

FOOD SORTING & PACKING
Help sort food into boxes for distribution. We prepare over 400 boxes of food per distribution day!
When: 4 hour shifts; shifts available M-F mornings, plus Sunday afternoons

DISTRIBUTION
Meet our clients! Help add refrigerated food to boxes, load food boxes into cars, move grocery carts, collect boxes or check clients into our computer system. Work inside or outside.
When: Mon, Weds or Fri from 2.30pm - 6pm

BIG TRUCK
Great for groups of 10-15 people! Help unload the big truck food delivery and sort for distribution.
When: Last Thursday of every month; 3 hour shift

SUPPORT
Apply your skills! Join our fundraising committee, help with social media, logistics, finance and more.
When: Flexible timing, can be virtual

FOOD DRIVE
Organize a food drive at your company or organization! We appreciate all food donations to help those in need in our community.

We're flexible. You may volunteer for a regular weekly shift (approx. 2-4 hours), multiple weekly shifts, or you may be a substitute working as needed depending on your availability.

Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Susie Hovey, to arrange an orientation. At your first shift you'll receive on-the-job training from the Team leader.

Most of our volunteer opportunities require that you are active and on your feet. We have a variety of opportunities with some that require no lifting and others needing you to lift 40 lbs. The Volunteer Coordinator will help you find the right fit.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, but there is no upper age limit.

Yes! We welcome your temporary service to receive credit for community service hours. Contact the Volunteer coordinator to make arrangements.

Our operations work best with a specific number of people, so all volunteers must be scheduled in advance.

Closed-toe shoes are required for all volunteer jobs. Our building has limited temperature controls so you are encouraged to dress for the weather. Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty! We will provide disposable food handling gloves.

Yes! Once a month, we need groups of 10-15 people to help with the Big Truck large food shipment. This is typically on a Thursday morning at the end of each month. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator to learn more:
